Environmental Training on Climate Change and Environmental Degradation.

We organized an Environmental training to sensitize people on climate change and environmental degradation.
Closing Remarks from our CEO Abie Rachel Ogoh Nyassi an Environmental Training on Climate Change and Environmental Degradation.
On the following topics:
  • Effects of climate change by Alieu Camara.
  • Possible ways of controlling environmental degradation by Mustapha Dumbuya.
  • Proper ways of waste management especially plastics by Bubacarr E. Camara.
  • Possible ways of combating global warming by AJA Fofana.
As we conclude this training, let us remember that the challenges posed by climate change and environmental degradation are not just issues for tomorrow; they are urgent realities of today. The waste we produce, the energy we consume, and the choices we make every day have a profound impact on our planet.
We have explored the critical role of waste management in combating global warming and have gained valuable insights into sustainable practices. It is now our responsibility to take these learnings beyond this room and into our communities, our homes, and our workplaces.
Let us be the catalysts for change, the advocates for a greener future. By adopting sustainable habits, supporting environmentally friendly initiatives, and inspiring others to do the same, we can create a world that is not only healthier but also more just and equitable for generations to come.
Thank you for your participation and commitment to environmental stewardship.

Dear Brikama Area Council,

On behalf of Aron Charter Organization, we extend our sincere gratitude for your invaluable support in making our February cleaning exercise in Brikama area council a resounding success. We were truly impressed by your support, e.g., the provision of waste disposal trucks, refreshments, the assistance of council workers, the public announcement information played a crucial role in the overall effectiveness of our efforts. The positive impact of the cleaning exercise is already evident in the area council’s positive outcomes, cleaner streets, improved community morale, reduced amount of litter, etc. We believe that a clean environment is essential for the health and well-being of our community, and we are deeply grateful for your partnership in achieving this goal. We appreciate your commitment to the betterment of Brikama and look forward to collaborating with you on future initiatives that benefit our community.

Hospital Visits with Baby Materials at brikama by the Aron charter team.

Introduction by CEO Abie Rachel ogoh Nyassi

Good evening, everyone.

I’m here today to propose an Aron Charter women empowerment initiative that aims to provide support and essential items to new mothers and their babies. As we know, the arrival of a newborn can be a joyous but also overwhelming time. Our goal is to alleviate some of the financial and emotional burdens that new parents often face.

Proposal Details We propose to organize regular visits to local hospitals to distribute baby materials to new mothers. These materials would include items such as:

  • Diapers
  • Baby wipes
  • Baby clothes
  • Blankets
  • Bottles
  • Formula (if applicable)

In addition to providing essential supplies, we would also offer emotional support and guidance to new mothers. Our volunteers would be available to answer questions, provide parenting tips, and simply offer a listening ear. Benefits of the Initiative This initiative would benefit the community in several ways:

  • Improved health outcomes: By providing essential supplies, we can help ensure that babies receive the care they need to thrive.
  • Reduced financial burden: The cost of raising a child can be significant. By providing free baby materials, we can help alleviate some of this financial strain.
  • Enhanced emotional well-being: New mothers often experience feelings of stress and anxiety. Our initiative would provide a much-needed support system.
  • Community building: This initiative would foster a sense of community and solidarity among new parents.

Call to Action I urge you all to support this proposal. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of new mothers and their babies. We need your time, your resources, and your enthusiasm to make this initiative a success.
